SOME RENTAL READY ITEMS TO CONSIDER …
- Check all applicable insurances are in order (home and contents, landlords, and public liability insurance)
- Setup NBN and landline connections
- Ensure property is clean and tidy, including lawns and gardens
- Repair/Replace anything that is broken, faulty, mouldy, or leaking
- Ensure your pool has a current Pool Compliance Certificate
- Test all smoke alarms and ensure they meet current legislative requirements
- Provide authorisation to your relevant Council for General Rates and Water Rates Notice and accounts to be sent directly to Homes4Rent for payment from income
- Authorise your Strata Manager to send your Body Corporate Levy Accounts direct to Homes4Rent for payment from income
- If your tenants are to be charged for water consumption, ask your plumber to provide you with a Water Compliance Certificate
